Since cooking and heating foods destroys fluorine, it is better to eat uncooked raw fruits and vegetables. Other foods rich in fluorine are goat milk and cheese, rye flour, avocados, sea plants and cabbage, cream whey and cottage cheese.

20. Wrinkle skin is a result of Sodium deficiency and makes skin sticky. Cucumbers are ideal for combating and preventing sodium deficiency because they are not only high in sodium, but also help in keeping the body cool, a great summer s treat.

Unless you have really oily skin, because you are a teenager or work with oils or gases, you do not need soap to get yourself clean.  Pure water does the job to get you clean.  However, you do need to use soap on your face, under your arms, and in the groin area.  As you get older, the use of soap on the rest of your body can unnecessarily dry your skin.

24. Quit smoking or, better yet, don’t even start!  More and more young people are smoking and doing so to relieve stress, but it’s bad for your skin and causes wrinkles.  Deep-set wrinkles will appear around your mouth from puckering, your skin will be dehydrated and dull, and you may experience premature aging.

25. What you apply to your skin helps give it a healthy, radiant glow, but remember what you put into your body is just as important.  A balanced diet rich in vitamins and antioxidants can make a real difference in the appearance of your skin.

26. When it comes to hair care, less is more.  Using unnecessary products or subjecting the hair to repeated procedures – such as perms, coloring, waving or straightening – can damage the hair and lead to breakage.  Although women use these things to improve the cosmetic appearance of their hair, in the long run they will inevitably cause the hair to lose some of its natural luster and look unhealthy.

27. Dermatologists can now use a combination of procedures to give a non-surgical facelift.  For many people in their 40s, 50s and even 60s, combining laser and other light-energy treatments with botulinum toxin and fillers can take years off their appearance while maintaining a natural, youthful look using non-invasive procedures.  Some procedures, such as photodynamic therapy, can even remove pre-cancerous growths – improving the health of the skin.

28. Whole grains, fruits and vegetables provide the skin with needed nutrients.

29. Avoid caffeine, alcohol and nicotine as they can constrict blood vessels that nourish skin. This increases the appearanc of deep wrinkles, aging and decreases the ability for skin to heal.

30. Wear clothes that ensure you don’t get too hot or too cold.

31. Cotton or natural fibers allow your skin to breathe.

32. Choose clothes that are loose without restrictions or rough-textured, scratchy surfaces.

33. Use cosmetics sparingly and allow your skin time to breathe naturally.

34. Go at least 5 days without cosmetics and notice the difference it makes to your skin.

35. Avoid skin products with alcohol or acid because they dry the skin.

36. Many cosmetics have creams, fillers and substances that block the pores and sweat glands decreasing natural detoxification.

37. Use natural products. Chemical deodorants, antiperspirants and cleaning products often destroy the natural protective bacteria on the skin.

prevent the body from detoxifying through the skin.

40. GENTLE MASSAGE causes local stimulation of the nervous system, reduces muscle tension, improves lymphatic and blood circulation, aids in healing, controls pain and reduces swelling. Avoid scratching or rubbing as this can disrupt the natural healing process of the skin.

41. DRY SKIN BRUSHING loosens up dead layers of skin, opens pores and helps to retain the natural oils of the skin. The friction action tones the skin, improves circulation, helps elimination of waste materials and prevents premature aging of the skin. Avoid brushing open, inflamed or oozing areas of skin.
